Staging

Moving and logistics support for home staging in San Diego

We're the muscle behind the staging job, not the design behind it. We move a seller's furniture out to short-term storage, deliver and place the stager's inventory on a fixed timeline, and handle restaging touch-ups between showings. When the home closes, we move it out again. Most single-visit staging setups run $360 to $650 with a 2-mover crew, and we work directly with the realtor, stager, or homeowner on whoever's paying.

What's included in this service?

  • Pre-staging furniture pull: move the seller's existing furniture into short-term storage before the stager arrives
  • Staging inventory delivery and placement, following the stager's floor plan room by room
  • Restaging and touch-up visits between open houses (swap a piece, reset a room, fix a shifted rug)
  • De-staging pickup once the home is under contract or the listing period ends
  • Close-of-escrow move for the buyer once the staged furniture clears out
  • Coordination with the listing agent or stager on lockbox codes, showing windows, and photo-shoot deadlines

When do you need this service?

  • You're a realtor or stager who needs furniture moved out before staging day and doesn't want to touch a truck
  • A listing needs the seller's furniture stored during the staging period, not donated or discarded
  • You need a tight turnaround between the stager's walkthrough and the photographer's arrival
  • A staged home just went under contract and the staging inventory needs to come out before close
  • You manage multiple listings and want one crew that knows how stagers actually work a room

What do homeowners ask about Staging?

Do you design the staging, or just move things?

Just the moving and logistics side. We're not interior designers and we don't own staging inventory. We work alongside your stager or design team, following their floor plan and placement instructions. If you're a stager looking for a crew that shows up on time, wraps furniture properly, and doesn't scratch hardwood on move-in, that's us.

What happens to the seller's furniture while the home is staged?

It goes into short-term storage at our facility, billed month to month with a 30-day minimum. We inventory and photograph everything before it leaves the house, so there's a clear record. When the home sells or the listing period ends, we bring it back or deliver it to the seller's new address, whichever the timeline calls for.

Can you turn a listing around in one day?

Often, yes. A typical single-day flow is: morning furniture pull to storage, midday staging inventory delivery and placement, home photo-ready by afternoon. Bigger homes or full-house staging jobs sometimes need two visits. We'll give you a straight answer on timing during the phone walkthrough, not an optimistic guess.

Do you work directly with realtors on billing, or does the homeowner pay?

Either way. Some agents put staging logistics on their marketing budget and pay us directly; some homeowners pay out of pocket as part of prep costs. We'll invoice whichever party you tell us to, and we can set up a standing account for agents or stagers who book with us regularly.

What if a piece gets damaged during placement?

Every job carries Released Value Protection by default, and we can add Full Value Protection for high-value staging pieces or seller heirlooms on request. In practice, damage on staging placement jobs is rare because our crews are trained to walk the route and protect doorframes and floors before anything moves. We're licensed, insured, and background-checked, and we'll show you the paperwork before day one.
