Junk removal for moves, cleanouts, and downsizing
Junk removal in San Diego County runs $95 for a single item up to $550 to $650 for a full truckload, priced by how much space your load takes in the truck. We haul it during your move, after a garage cleanout, or as a standalone pickup, and we donate what's still usable instead of dumping everything at Miramar.

What do homeowners ask about Junk Removal?
What's the difference between junk removal pricing and your moving rates?
Junk removal is priced by volume, not by the hour. We quote based on how much of the truck your items fill, from a single-item minimum around $95 up to $550-650 for a packed full load. That's different from our hourly moving rates because most junk jobs are a one-way haul with no destination unload, so volume is the fairer way to price it.
Do you take everything, or is some stuff off-limits?
We take furniture, mattresses, appliances, boxes, electronics, and general household and garage debris. We don't take hazardous waste: paint, solvents, chemicals, propane tanks, or tires. Those have to go through a certified hazardous waste facility, and we can point you to the nearest County drop-off site if you've got any on hand.
What happens to the stuff you haul away?
Anything still usable, furniture, working appliances, clean clothing and housewares, goes to Goodwill or Salvation Army instead of the landfill. Electronics like TVs and monitors get handled per California's e-waste rules, which keep them out of regular trash. What's left over that can't be donated or recycled goes to Miramar Landfill. We sort on-site so usable items don't end up buried.
Can you do junk removal at the same time as my move?
Yes, and it's the most efficient way to do it. If you've got a couch you're not keeping or a mattress that's not making the trip, we pull it off the truck before we load your actual move and haul it separately. You get one crew, one day, and you're not paying hourly moving labor to load stuff that's headed to a dumpster.
How fast can you get to a cleanout?
Most single-item or small-load pickups book same-day or next-day. Full garage, estate, or pre-listing cleanouts usually take 2 to 4 hours on-site once the crew arrives, depending on volume and access. If you're on a listing deadline or an HOA move-out clock, tell us up front and we'll prioritize the slot.
